How much does it cost to study in American art? The fees of American public universities are generally lower than those of private universities. The average annual tuition is about $10000~$20000. The average tuition of private universities is about $25000~$45000. Among them, law schools, medical schools, colleges and polytechnics are about $13000~$20000/year for public schools and $28000~$45000/year for private schools. The public college of liberal arts is about $9000~$14000/year, and the private college is about $25000~$32000/year.

   Insurance and activity expenses

The comprehensive medical insurance premium is generally USD $500 - $800, and the student activity fee is USD $500 - $1000. For international students, student medical insurance is mandatory. Without this insurance, they cannot register for school. Because medical treatment in the United States is very expensive, and it is difficult for individuals to afford it, it is not easy to be accepted by hospitals or clinics without insurance. When students do not have their own insurance, American schools also provide medical and accident insurance for foreign students to buy. Some schools include insurance premium in the registration payment form, and students have purchased the insurance without knowing it. Some schools, when learning that art students do not have insurance, propose that art students should buy insurance. In fact, students can choose medical and accident insurance with low premium and good protection. As long as international art students provide proof of having purchased insurance, general schools will accept it.

The fees for studying abroad in American art are still based on the school you are in and your consumption level. There are differences in different stages. As for the table of fees for studying abroad in American art, I believe you have a clear idea after reading the table above. The following editor will tell you what you want to hear.

The United States has many top universities, which can be seen in the global university rankings every year. Among the top 50 universities in the world, there are about 20 American art universities, while China has only Tsinghua University and Peking University on the list. The American higher education system has attracted a large number of overseas students. The flexible bachelor's degree allows students to choose from a variety of courses. The first stage is basic courses, and the second stage can learn the subjects of their choice as their major. However, the school has invested more and more funds in infrastructure construction, such as the construction of the library, magnificent new buildings, etc. Many colleges and universities build new dormitories, fitness centers, leisure centers, etc. For the construction of these facilities, the school needs to hire more employees to meet the needs of students. The medical care and welfare of employees are a huge expense. There are also some infrastructure maintenance and management costs.

The federal and state governments of the United States have reduced the investment in education due to the economic recession, which has led to the shortage of school funds and thus increased tuition fees to meet the construction of their own schools. American universities take great care of their students. Many schools adopt small class education and have strong teachers. Of course, the salaries and welfare benefits of these teachers are also part of the big expenses of the school. The various welfare systems in the United States are basically supported by taxes. However, the rising number of art students has brought a huge impact and burden to American universities. Therefore, many universities use high fees to ease this burden.

Some American art universities have campuses in the city center, and the high public management fees, maintenance fees, and student living expenses have increased the cost of studying abroad. On the other hand, convenient transportation, good humanistic environment, and more employment and internships have also brought more opportunities to students. The education in the United States is managed by the state government. The public universities in the United States are independent economic entities. The state government allocates a part of the income tax paid by residents of the state as the operating funds of public universities. Other funds of public universities depend on student tuition fees and various donations from individuals and groups. The research project funds of American universities are generally collected from American taxpayers by the federal government. The undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral programs of the American University of the Arts often recruit many international students, especially Chinese students, with full prizes, half prizes, free tuition and other ways, which also caused dissatisfaction and protest from many taxpayers in the United States.
