With the aggravation of the epidemic situation in Europe, the epidemic prevention policies and measures of Britain finally began to be gradually active. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on the evening of the 18th that all schools and educational institutions in England will be closed from March 20.

Huangyi also responded to the call at the first time and updated relevant measures: since March 20, all buildings and facilities on the campus have been closed, and all offline courses have been changed to remote/online teaching. However, no information about the adjustment of language classes has been released.

Lunyi's response to the epidemic is usually very rapid. At present, the campus has been completely closed on March 23, and all courses have been changed to online. This week, we released corresponding measures for new students in this year's language class (Pre session) and autumn:

1. Language class arrangement:

a. The 19 week language class on April 14 and the 13 week language class on May 29 will be postponed or changed to online teaching.

b. The current time and form of the 9-week language class on June 25, the preparatory language class on June 29, and the unconditional language class on July 27 are to be determined.

Moreover, Lunyi also promised that if the epidemic situation was controlled before June, all language classes would start from July to September and strengthen their completion (the class hours would remain unchanged, increasing the curriculum density), and the school would start normally in autumn; If the epidemic continues to the end of August, Lunyi will extend the start of school in September to January 2021, and change the language class to September December.

The Natural Light application team communicated with the university that the seats in the language class are very scarce at present. It is suggested that students who can meet the relevant requirements should register as soon as possible.

2. For students enrolled in autumn:

At present, the school plans are as follows: a) The school starts normally; b) The school starts one month later; c) One semester will be postponed (until January 2021).

Regardless of the specific opening date, the university will carry out corresponding professional teaching according to the established teaching content, and carry out corresponding student status and class management. Therefore, students who should enroll this fall should follow the procedures such as confirmation of existing offers, deposit payment, etc., occupy a good degree and wait for the unified arrangement of the university.

3. Accommodation arrangement:

The language class accommodation has been opened for registration on February 20, and there is no change temporarily. The accommodation of the language class shall be on a first come, first served basis until it is filled. The number of places is limited. It is recommended that the students who have signed up for the language class should sign up as soon as possible.

The registration for accommodation of autumn professional courses will be open on April 2, only for students who have already applied for the offer of main courses; Other admitted students can apply after May 14. It is suggested that all students should complete the acceptance of the main course before April 2, and apply for dormitory from April 2. Only the accommodation application submitted before May 15, 2020 will finally ensure the accommodation quota.
