USC undergraduate portfolio requirements:
1. School of Architecture:
The work should reflect the breadth and diversity of the applicant's creative interests, not necessarily limited to architecture. It can include sketch, sketch, color painting, graphic design, photography, video, website design, sculpture, ceramics and furniture design and other types. Works can be handmade or digital, can be after-school activities or independent creation. The portfolio should contain the best works of the applicant, reflecting the applicant's creative interest, ability and motivation. Each work should be attached with a brief description (title, size, media, etc.). If it is a collective work, please describe your contribution.
2. Rosky College of Art and Design:
All applicants must complete the USC Additional Writing Materials Roskey Academy section and submit additional materials, including artist presentations, portfolios, and lists of creative achievements.
The collection should contain 10-20 images of works completed in the past two years. The collection of works should not only show the best artistic skills of the applicant - in the form of multiple media or a single media - but also show the development process of personal ideas. Classroom assignments or works completed independently can be included in the portfolio, and images in PDF format are not acceptable.
3. Academy of Film Arts
To apply for the Academy of Film Arts, you must submit a general application containing USC additional writing materials, as well as all additional materials, namely writing samples, resumes, and letters of recommendation, before December 1.
4. College of Dramatic Arts
All applicants must complete the USC School of Dramatic Arts Additional Writing Materials section.
5. Aoyang College: art, technology and innovative business
In addition to the general application and USC additional writing materials, all applicants must submit a creative portfolio through Slideroom.

USC Graduate Portfolio Requirements:
1. School of Architecture
The collection of works is an opportunity to show your talent and creative experience, which can include free painting, sculpture, photography, graphic design, furniture, product design, etc. Applicants with architectural learning experience should include past architectural design studio models, professional works or painting and photography of any other artistic/creative activities in their portfolio.
The collection should contain 10-25 digital images, which are uploaded through Slideroom. Original or printed materials are not acceptable. Please do not submit repeatedly online.
An additional collection of papers, works, computer programs, websites or other materials can be submitted to apply for the major of building science to show technical ability, research skills or relevant knowledge or talent.
A writing sample must be submitted to apply for the discipline of heritage conservation. Collection is not required, but will be considered if submitted.
2. Rosky College of Art and Design:
The collection must be submitted through Slideroom before January 15. The collection must contain one or more of the following:
1) Still images (20-25 images). Please specify the title, media, dimensions and creation year of each image. All images should form a coherent whole, which fully displays the full scope of the applicant's artistic practice.
2) Non interactive media (video, film, performance documentary, animation). Applicants should attach video media. If the video size exceeds 60M, DVD can be mailed. The DVD should contain a full version and a preview version, with a table of contents and an introduction.
3) Interactive media (interactive DVD video, Flash, HTML, Director, etc.). Applicants can upload their works and provide website links, or send a DVD. Attach instructions for use, as well as sufficient screenshots and text explanations. Please remember to provide an overview of each interactive medium, including the title and creation date.
Note: DVD must play on a standard DVD player. Blu ray or HD-DVD is not supported. The recommended size is 640 × 480 (standard) and above, or 720 × 480 (widescreen) and above, and you can also specify the best viewing size on PC or Mac.
