The art major of the University of Pennsylvania is an interdisciplinary research and exploration channel, integrating a wide range of art production technologies, methods and views. The collection of pure art works should contain at least 10 different works. Students are strongly encouraged to attach an artist statement of about 300 words.
The undergraduate program of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Pennsylvania provides opportunities for students to learn a variety of arts and design disciplines, including Fine Arts Interdisciplinary Major (FNAR) and Comprehensive Design Major (DSGN).
