Not only the A2 language certificate is required, but also the face-to-face signature is required. That is, the visa officer can only pass if he/she is satisfied with your answer when he/she asks and answers questions in Italian.

3. For students who teach in English, for example, Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di Turin offer courses taught in English. The course signature for English teaching can be in English. Students of the Marco Polo Plan and the Turandot Plan are generally required to have a language of at least A2. If some famous schools, such as the Florence Academy of Fine Arts, are qualified to participate in the entrance examination, they are required to have a language of B1. So if your language does not reach a very good level, you will never have the opportunity to study in a famous school, because the number of places in Italian famous schools is limited every year, and the number of Chinese students taking the exam is very concentrated.

Florence Academy of Fine Arts There are more than 500 students in the postgraduate entrance examination, and only a few are entered. Other remote ordinary schools have relatively low language requirements. The early Marco Polo Plan can be traced back to 2005, when I took the entrance exam. For example, Padua University passed the entrance exam only by asking a few simple questions, even without a formal written exam. Now this situation is less and less. Since the beginning of studying in Italy, the time for planned students to study in Italy has been increased by 2 months, officially to better consolidate their Italian proficiency.
